Hey there! I’m Zaneta [zuh-knee-ta]

I am an illustrator and designer based in Los Angeles. I received my MFA in Illustration from California State University, Fullerton in 2022 and my BFA in Studio Art from the University of California, Riverside in 2016. I get excited about turning an idea into a visual work of art. Visual hierarchy, language, and aesthetics all influence my creations – in both illustration and design.

When I’m not illustrating, I’m exploring! Whether it be traveling and experiencing a new culture, finding a new recipe to cook, or diving into a new story — I love to learn new things and acquire knowledge and skills I’ve never experienced.

I am currently working as an in-house graphic designer at Duplo USA Corporation and freelancing on the side with clients such as Brighton Collectibles and Transforming Arts & Minds. I am also currently working on personal projects, such as illustrating and designing for my business, Paper Life + Co, as well as writing and illustrating my own children’s picture book.
